“We now realize that every present moment needs to be experienced as something that will be reflected upon later.
We’re living in two realities at the same time.”

As the old saying goes…
“A picture tells a thousand words.”
I absolutely believe that to be true; however, what I have found is that film can tell an entire story - limited not by words, or movement, or sound, for that matter.
Film of our lives, when skillfully captured and artfully produced, is, in a sense, the only form of time-travel we have the ability to experience - telling the story as it was in real time, only now evoking the added emotion of nostalgia.

Hey, I’m Alex Feilmeier.
My remembering self is a storyteller.

I live in Des Moines, Iowa with my wife, Ashley. Together we have two boys and often argue over who gets to hug them last before putting them down to sleep.
I just want to have fun while creating a story through film that you can FEEL. And if I can make a friend and/or learn something new while doing so, well then that’s just a bonus.
Let’s make a story together.
I often cry during emotional moments,
so don’t look at me and we’ll both be okay.
